Manouri (a semi-soft fresh white Greek cheese) dipped in sesame seeds and lightly sautéed to a beautiful golden brown color. Topped off with a delicious Greek sweet spoon dessert made with Sour Cherries.

Ingredients
manouri cheese | 1⅓ lb. |
sesame seeds | 1 cup |
eggs | 2 |
greek extra virgin olive oil | ¼ cup |
vissino (sour cherries) | ½ cup sweet spoon dessert |
How to cook
- In a bowl, with a fork beat the eggs.
- In another bowl, pour the sesame seeds.
- Cut the Manouri cheese in 3 equal portions (round). Approximately ¼ - 1/3 inch thickness.
- Dip each cheese portion in the egg mixture making sure to coat all sides. Then dip in the sesame seeds coating the entire cheese.
- In a small sauté pan, on a medium–high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, carefully add the cheese and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Place on a serving dish and drizzle 2 tablespoons of Vissino on the top. Serve hot.
- Repeat the remaining portions.
