cucumber | 1 (with peel,grated) |
greek yogurt | 2 cups |
garlic cloves,finely chopped | 3 |
white wine vinegar | 1 tablepsoon |
greek extra virgin olive oil | 1 tablepsoon |
salt | to taste |
white pepper | to taste |
How to cook
- Wash the cumber really good, leaving the peel and cut in half.
- With a spoon carefully remove the seeds.
- Grate the cucumber and put them in a clean towel.
- Squeeze the excess liquid to eliminate the tzatziki becoming too runny.
- In this a bowl, add the Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic cloves, white wine vinegar, extra Virgin Olive oil, salt and white pepper.
- Mix well, store in a covered container and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours so the flavors have a chance to tie together.
